It was a good Pride week this year in San Francisco. Unfortunately, I was distracted by trying to save my porno producing ass in time to escape the wrath of the Department of Justice AND remodel an income property all at the same time. It seems I am not allowed to have a relaxing, worry-free party week without something to shake me into reality. This time it's either jail or bankruptcy, whichever comes first. I helped collect money at the gates for Pink Saturday this year. (Pink Saturday is a street party the night before Pride held right in the heart of Castro.) It's the Sister's biggest fundraising event of the year. The event grossed $67,000 which will be disbursed later in the year to charitable organizations that apply for grants. It's a big increase over last year, and only a few years ago the event only broke even. I didn't take any pictures at Pink Saturday because I wanted save up my energy for shooting the next day. We slept in on Sunday. Ah! For once I didn't have to be anywhere or be responsible for doing anything! It was Retardo The Wonderfuck's first gay pride in San Francisco, so it was a big treat for him. Unfortunately, he lollygaggled around so much that by the time we got downtown there was only about 20 minute of parade left. We walked to the Civic Center, and as usual, the Faerie Village was the best chill-spot. We hung out there, then went to an invitation-only party at the City Hall Rotunda. (Who could pass up free drinks.) As the celebration was winding down, we headed for the Phoenix Hotel for Juanita More's after party. It urned out to be the best spot for cruising the cutest guys in town. Saki and Flora had the fore-thought to bring bathing suits to take a little dip in the pool - in their makeup! With a late start, we stayed out much later than I am used to on Parade day. It's Monday afternoon, and there are probably somebody STILL out there keeping the party going. Last night was a fundraiser for Stop AIDS Project sponsored by local porn store The Gulch that featured "boys" from Bel Ami and "men" from COLT Studio. The parents of a young actor holds up the production of a major motion picture because the location might inspire bad thoughts? Are they afraid he is going to SEE things or DO things that he's not supposed to? Are they afraid his famous face is going to be snatched off the street and coersed into white slavery? Are they afraid he's going to show up on the cover of the next Bel Ami movie? Hollywood Sales has already made the gay porn movie spinoff, "Harry Squatter and the Socerer's Bone", (withOUT Daniel Radliffe, thank god.) Even if his career tanks after the Harry Potter series, it's already too late to sink into parodies of himself in the lower rungs of show business. "Radcliffe's Parents Move Location of Fifth Potter Film The filming of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix is returning to its original British location after the parents of Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe voiced safety fears over filming in the Czech Republic. The fifth big screen installment appeared destined to have a Czech location after Warner Bros executives announced earlier this year they were dismantling movie sets at Leavesden studios in Hertfordshire, and rebuilding them in Prague to save production costs. But Daniel's parents, Alan Radcliffe and Marcia Gresham, told producers they were concerned at letting their son - who turns 15 next month - spending long periods of time in a city increasingly famous for its wild nightlife and growing sex industry. As a result the most of the filming will now take place at the original Leavesden studios. A crewmember says, "Some of it is going to happen in Prague but we have been told that most of the filming is going to happen here. It's because of Daniel's parents, and you can see their point. Retardo The Wonderfuck spent the night last night. I tossed and turned while Retardo sawed logs. (Note to self: No Chai or caffienated drinks after 12 noon!) He got up first to make coffee and spotted the note on the kitchen counter. Not knowing what it was, he also added the alternative spelling of "Manzere". MARK DALTON, who had hoped for an early June release from the Texas Department of Corrections, has been approved for an OCTOBER 2005 release, pending completion of a "special program" that he must begin by July 2005.  This decision was made at a May 18, 2005 Parole Board Hearing.  No information is currently available about the exact "nature" of the program  Dalton must complete or where he'll complete it,  however it will be done under the supervision of the TDC at one of their prison units.  The October 2005 release date is predicated upon Dalton beginning the program in July 2005.   Recently, DALTON was transferred back to the Denton County Jail (from his TDC prison unit in Texas Colony) so he could  be closer for court appearances he had to make dealing with his original "possessions" charge.  Those matters have been completed and he'll be returning to a Texas Department of Corrections unit  so he can begin the "special program" by July 2005 and be legible for the October 2005 release.   DALTON is hoping to be able  to do a few "special" LIVE appearances in November & December.   No further information is available.  His mailing address is pending at this time, since he's going to be in transit.   Dalton's new Jocks/Falcon film, "Super Soaked," directed by Chi Chi LaRue, which is still available ONLY through mail order.     The  Mark Dalton prison/release  information is courtesy of  the Palestine Parole Unit of the TDC (903/729-3698) and the Denton County Jail (940/898-5620).

Over the next few weeks you will be seeing a lot of changes in the adult industry. May 24, 2005 will go down in porn history as "Black Tuesday". The adult entertainment industry got a big scare last summer when former Attorney General John Ashcroft wrote proposed changes to the 2257 laws requiring all producers of adult material maintain records that models are over the age of 18. The industry got a little freaked out for a few months, but just as the hysteria subsided, the new Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales, signed the proposed changes into law and, in fact, made the rules even worse. The adult industry has until June 23, 2005 to comply with the new laws. However, the way it is written, it may already be too late for 99% of the adult webmasters out there, including moi! At this point, we don't know if the Department of Justice will consider June 23 as the date the compliance begins, or whether that is the date they start making arrests for violations that have already occurred! If I have any sexually explicit material on any of my websites, I need to have physical documentation proving that everyone in the photo or video is over 18. It doesn't matter if it is a banner from a sponsor, free content supplied by a sponsor or a a framegrab of Paris Hilton's sex video - I need a copy of the model's ID on file, AND I have to be available at my place of business at least 20 hours per week to allow federal agents to inspect those records without notice! Unless I was willing to rush back to the apartment that I was staying and write this column late that Saturday night, I could let the organizers take on that job. And I did. It was a first. And you know what? I had a blast!! So here it is a week later and I'm back home in New York and catching up on all the news .. hang on tight because we've got miles to go before we sleep. Now most folks that have encountered me in life know that I don't have any trouble speaking on a microphone but these guys literally left me speechless. Maybe it was a low blood sugar moment or maybe it was just a low blood level moment (this is what happens when ones penis hogs it all) but I struggled during the 15 or so minutes that I got up out of my chair and went to interview the group of them as they had congregated in a corner of the room. There are whispers who this will be but I've been asked not to speculate publicly) and finally Pete Ross http://www.peterossxxx.com who told us about him getting into trouble with his "day job" as a flight attendant at a certain American airline now that they’ve found out that he does gay porn (as if most of their staff hasn't done gay porn.. harrumph!) as well as the success of having done a bunch of Falcon, Raging Stallion and much more and having just been hired as the "new pool boy" in the upcoming segments of WET PALMS. Whew!!!! Next up was blonde, thin and twinkish, Markie. He's been around for a few years and it was great to finally meet him. Perhaps we will see more of him at upcoming events. Finally my final guest of the evening was Michael Brandon .. I always like having Michael at the end of the night as he's the easiest interview ever because I've known him for five years and there's no end to the material to cover when talking to him. At one point we were both leaning against the back wall sorta talking to each other as if we were old geezers sitting on a park bench drinking soda pop discussing the weather. You don't get that kind of comfort level with someone over night but it's the ease by which I can kind of let go by the time he's up on stage with me that continually makes me appreciate his warmth and energy. Four dildos, a reduction in all things performance wise, moving the new boyfriend in with him in San Francisco and so on… all made good conversation. We toasted our glasses to Dave's memory because without his dream we wouldn't be there. Dave was a very special man and I personally owe him a lot. He was instrumental in making these Grabbys weekends work out for me and well, it was one of those things that you don't realize how much someone has made a difference in your life until they are gone and you see the hole that they've left behind.
