"Hostile" from COLT's Re-Launched Olympus Line
...If only I could rub that furry belly, too... hmmm. Box covers always sell the movie, and if I wasn't already expecting a review copy in the mail, I might be tempted to investigate that hairy boy further - or that smooth and delectable Danny Roddick. Yum.
European porn star Roland Dane had some meetings with COLT's John Rutherford to pitch his idea for a take-off the 2005 Quentin Tarantino splatter film "Hostel" about American tourists getting in trouble in Eastern Europe. (See Trailer) When I first saw commercials for it, I did see a bit of homoeroticism, so a gay porn re-make was soon to follow.
Of anyone in the COLT stable, Danny Roddick and Alex Chandler were the most likely to fit the roles of American tourists in the gay porn remake to be titled "Hostile". Roland Dane becomes a director, Rutherford gets to re-launch the old Olympus line, the boys get a free sex trip to Europe, you get to buy a copy of "Hostile", and I get a commission. Everybody wins. (Even Quentin Tarantino wins. "Hostel Part 2" comes out in 2007.)
Danny and Alex are surrounded by a supporting cast of some of the hunkiest men in Eastern Europe! The first pair that the boys run into at the hostel is appropriately charming and played by the hairy and hunky Matt Stefan and the smooth, deliciously uncut and vigorous top, Lucio Maverick. Dane cast a pair of penultimate dancer boys for the disco scene with the smooth and muscularly defined Fredy Costa and Mario McGabe. Finally, the three thugs are appropriately big, muscular and intense: Akos Piros as the sadistic, pierced, leather-muscle-daddy; Julian Vincenzo is the tattooed, intense top; and cover man Giovanni Floretto is the hugely hung, hot, hairy hunk of uncut muscle! There is definitely someone for everyone in this cast!
