Chris Steele Joins Centaur Films
Porn performer and director Chris Steele has announced that he has joined Centaur Films as director and Vice President of West Coast Productions. I was pretty shocked to hear that, primarily because I hadn't heard a word about Centaur Films in a long, long time! This announcement is obviously a move to re-start the dormant Centaur Films line. If it pays off, I'm betting Steele would get a nice piece of the action, rather than be just another "employee" at another company. Smart move.
Chris will be handling all aspects of production for Centaur Films in Los Angeles and the west coast while Centaur President, Chip Daniels, continues to produce and direct some of the industry's hottest gay adult videos at the company's headquarters in Florida.
"I'm very happy to take on such an important position with my all time favorite studio," Steele said. "The first studio I ever applied for as a model was Centaur Films because I have always loved Chip Daniels movies. Time Cops and Marine Crucible are two of my all time favorites."
Steele began his XXX career in 1998 as an exclusive model for Studio 2000, and picked up a GayVN for Best Sex Scene in 2003's Cops Gone Bad. Steele appeared in numerous releases for a wide array of studios including Falcon, Mustang, Titan, Raging Stallion, All Worlds, Massive Studio, and Rascal Video. He began to write scripts in 2001 and has since written over 50 screenplays for gay adult video including GayVN Best Screenplay nominee Conquered. Chris's directorial debut was mega-blockbuster Taking Flight which brought him a GayVN nod for Best Director. His directing credits include Cross Country, Spokes III, From Top to Bottom, The Velvet Mafia, Riding Hard and the much anticipated Farmer's Son. Chris has a reputation for directing very popular videos, finding great talent and getting strict tops to bottom.
