Three More Porn Star Deaths
Three more gay porn star deaths occurred this week. It seems like we've lost a lot of gay porn stars this year, but the numbers are probably normal. It's just that there are a lot more bloggers and media outlets covering the gay porn beat than ever before, so every bit of news get more widely distributed.
The first loss was a real shocker. Bisexual fitness model, International Male underwear model, and escort Rob Sager died suddenly at age 29. He was known to porn fans at Brett Mycles, having mostly done movies for Jet Set. His name was one of the most searched key words on Lavender Lounge Blog, and from the outpouring of grief at a popular muscle forum, shows how widely loved he was. A newcomer to the industry with a bright future at Falcon was next according to porn columnist J.C. Adams, Hours after news of the death of Brett Mycles hit the industry came word that newcomer Lynden Thomas, 25, has died. He was just days away from filming his first movie for Falcon Studios. Director Chad Donovan broke the news. The cause of death, per Mr. Donovan, was a "massive asthma attack."
Lynden Thomas lived in Shady Grove, Maryland and operated his own escort site, RentLynden.com, which has already been taken down. He lived a colorful life that included serving as pastor of The Secret Place Community Church. Mr. Thomas is survived by his parents, stepfather, two brothers and his life partner.
"I spoke to him over the weekend, just a few days ago," Mr. Donovan says. "He told me how excited he was to be making his first movie. He was going to star in BIG DICK CLUB 2 and sign on as our newest exclusive." No photos of Lynden Thomas were available.

Dear Members, I just received the very sad news that COLT ICON, TOM HOWARD past away this morning - Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Howard was one of the most handsome and also most interesting men I have ever met in my 30 years at COLT. He loved every minute in front of the camera, showing off his incredible body and handsome looks. He will always be remembered as the wonderful human beeing that he was AND as one of the most handsome, most muscular and masculine MEN ever photographed by Jim French. I'd seen Tom Howard around San Francisco showing off his enormous body at all the street fairs, and he regularly ran escort ads in the Bay Area Reporter within the past few years. He WAS an icon.
