Designer or COLT Model?
From the pictures below, please guess which are fashion designers and which are COLT models. Answers after the jump.

As reported in Page Six, it seems the 59-year-old French designer and perfumer, Thierry Mugler, has been lifting weights to such an extent that he's bulked himself into an unrecognizable musclebound creature that necessitated a name change. Please, call him Manfred Mugler now. "He's been incommunicado since he closed his couture house," said a former friend. "What he's done to his body is totally scary. He started out as a classical ballet dancer. Now he looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime."
I'm not much of a designer queen myself, so I didn't know much about Thierry Mugler even when he was at the top of his game. I wouldn't recognize him if he was standing in front of me, but I do own one of his jackets and wore it to the GayVN Awards. It's a black double breasted jacket probably from the early 90's (I bought it in the late 90's at a thrift store on Melrose) with extremely padded shoulders and perfectly tailored to my body to give even this aging sedentary nerd a somewhat v-shaped silhouette. Accomplishing that is quite a feat, so kudos to the designer.
Wearing that Theirry Mugler jacket to the GayVN's with vintage jodpurs and high boots at least got me and Retardo seen on the red carpet coverage (Tim and Roma show) when the titles read "FASHIONS".
Still can't tell the rag merchant from the smut merchant? Click "continue reading" and you might be surprized.
The first picture, believe it or not, is former fashion designer Thierry "Manfred" Mugler. The second is Manfred Speer, a former COLT model from the 70's (about the same age as Mugler) and currently talent scout for COLT. The third picture is a trick question. Ray (formerly "Raymond") Dragon is a former fashion designer AND a COLT model! Started out as a COLT model, opened a few stores selling skin tight knit shirts, then went back to COLT.
Hello, Manfred (Speer): Better start soliciting Madam Mugler to model for COLT!
