Nova - Super Punk Boi Extreme

Nova is a local club kid around San Francisco that pretty much everyone knows, sort of a legend, you might say. It's the usual story - he strips at clubs, sells Jello shots at bars, always dresses flamboyantly, hangs out with the cool crowd of punks, faeries, street trash, and artsy types. He also paints and creates art, but his real talent is the art of survival on the edge of society. Yes, he's been a "troubled youth" for a long time, and I just don't know how those types get by.

Nova has been photographed by a lot of local pornographers as well as fine art photographers. He's posed twice for me, once under the name "Gabriel" and as Nova. The first session (after many cancellations) he tried to pull off a sporty look with jeans and baseball cap, but that just didn't work with the shaved eyebrows and oddly sculpted haircut.

Before the second session, though, I decided I wanted to actually take advantage of his quirky look and let him be as outrageous as he wanted. When I picked him up, he was living in a warehouse space with god knows how many other artists / freaks. While I waited for him to shower and prep, I took pictures of some of his art pieces, and when he said he needed to shave, I suggested we go outside and photograph the process.

The warehouse was in an industrial area, almost under a freeway ramp and the "yard" was full of clutter, junk, old cars and an abandoned school bus. I photographed him sitting on a wacky camel sculpture with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, and using the school bus mirror for shaving. The photos done there were almost enough themselves, but he packed up a giant duffle bag of clothes and we headed off to Oakland for the real shoot.

We shot photos and videos of Nova in several different costumes and I let him get as creative as he wanted. I lent him my flourescent makeup to paint his face to match the glow in the dark wet suit that he altered himself. His favorite outfit was the leather / bondage inspired concoction in the video which was his tribute to his idol, Madonna. When I asked him about Madonna, he really lit up and went into hero worship mode over the Material Girl.

Throughout the photo session, his eyes were glued to his own image reflected in the full length mirrors across from him behind the camera. When it came time for his cum shot, it was clear that he really got off on seeing his own reflection. Nothing wrong with that!

Nova is a small guy, about 5'4" and I would guess about 100 -120 pounds. His background is Central American heritage, and he's got a nice long uncut cock for such a little guy!

There are hundreds of amazingly creative photos of Nova in the Lavender Lounge VIP Room under the category "Faeries". The session was done in 2003 (when he was around 25), but the reason I am promoting it now is because I just recently processed the videos from that session for the first time!
