All Bear Boy Band - Bearforce 1

Move over N'Sync and Backstreet Boys! The latest boy band sensation is beefy, furry and way, way out of the closet. Meet Bearforce1, claiming to be the first "real bearband of the world". Sorry, you're no where near the first, but Bearforce1 has made a bigger splash than any prior attempts at this niche market.

I went to their website and expelled a immediate groan/giggle from the onslaught of disco music forced upon you just by visiting the site. A medley re-mix of every cliche gay anthem assaults you and takes to back to some distant drug/alcohol fueled dancefloor where even the most jaded queen remembers that moment of abandon. At first I thought it was a joke, but I do think they are taking it as seriously as any other novelty act does. It's goofy, fun music made for performing in front of big gay crowds. It's not supposed to be taken seriously.

The "hook" is that they're bears, which in itself pokes fun at the music industry's rule that only young, androgynous twerps are allowed to perform music on stage. But since the music "industry" as we know it is down the tubes, you can expect to see a lot more unusual musical acts like Bearforce1 coming out of nowhere.

But let's get to the important stuff - which member of Bearforce1 is the cutest? Between Ian, Robert, Peter, Yuri, Ringo, Paul, George, or John, which one do you have a crush on?

Oh-my-gawd, is Yuri the like hottest or what? Becky, did you like, see his bald head? Like, ohmygod, I wanna like marry him! Like right now, okay? Like, I heard he is going to be the centerfold of Tiger Beat! Or maybe it was like Bear Beat, like, I don't know, he's just so like cute and stuff! Like, I love him and I wanna be his, like, boyfriend and stuff, oh my god he's sooo cute! I'm like, gonna write his name all over my, like, notebook with with little hearts over the "i" in Yuri...
