Lazy Bear Flashbacks

No, the title of this blog entry, "Lazy Bear Flashbacks", has nothing to do with side effects from acid, although it is a big party weekend coming up. Before I head out to Guerneville for the annual bear / cub/ otter / fur fest, I decided to dig up my old photos from the past few years and re-post them to my websites.

Lavender Lounge AND Muscle Bear Cub now boast galleries of photos from Lazy Bear Weekend 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. By this time next week, you'll see another 500 or more photos from 2007, too (if all goes well.) I went back to the original hi res images right from the camera and re-processed them all in a larger format (bigger is better!) and set them up to playback as slideshows. I love the slideshow features best of all. It makes for convenient one-handed viewing, if you know what I mean...

It was fun to go through all those pictures last night, though it was a bitch to process 3000 or so all at once! I got a kick out of thinking "whatever happened to him?" or "gee he sure was skinnier back then...".

Among the gazzillion photos of handsome, manly men with facial hair, beards, hairy chests, and some of the wackiest tattoos you'll ever see, it's the most prime selection of male beefcake assembled in one place - and mostly in bathing suits or less! Yes, there are some dick shots and some butt shots, but it's mostly just guys having fun in the sun in Northern California's redwood country. From a photographer's standpoint, it couldn't be a better setting. Water, blue sky, mild temperatures just warm enough to be comfortable stripped down.
