Outing Karl Rove's Father and A Music Mogul

I'm not sure why we all slept through this story last September, but when a book came out about Karl Rove titled, "The Architect: Karl Rove and the Master Plan for Absolute Power", the author dropped a bomb that Karl Rove's adopted father Louis Rove was gay. Not only was he gay, he was into ritual piercing parties! Gay AND kinky! And now, a guest columnist named Yard Dog from a Body Modification website wrote about Louis Rove as the man who introduced him to piercing. The pictures below are Louis Rove's solid gold frenum ladders. Apparently, Rove was a frequent model for piercing magazines, too. And Yard Dog is also the proud owner of Louis Rove's solid gold cock ring! Sounds like a silent auction item for a Democratic fundraiser!

Okay, this explains alot.

The above quote from Thom Lynch came before the Ted Haggard story, and we're still waiting for revelations outing Republican Committee Chair Ken Melman, but let's add them to that list, too.

And I must have been living under a rock to miss this blind item about Clive Davis: "What well-known music mogul (in his 70s) is secretly gay??? The record label honcho, who got into a big fight with one of his idolized starlets this year, has been married and has like four kids….plus a boyfriend on the side. This comes from an impeccable source very close to him." Only a gay man would stick with Whitney Houston through all her shenanigans... And the "idolized starlet" was Kelly Clarkson.

And isn't it interesting that even though you can't libel a dead (gay) man, Merv Griffin's company is trying to squash stories about him being gay. Reuters pulled an editorial that shamed the billionaire media mogul for not coming out. And isn't it even more interesting that Merv's protege Ryan Seacrest is suddenly getting all sorts of very high profile jobs just after the old man kicks?
