Steve Cruz Beard Blog

A photo spread of Steve Cruz in Eurobear Magazine has been on the top of the stack in my nightstand for a few weeks - if you know what I mean. Gawd, he's hot! But I recently noticed that he has started a "beard blog" to chronicle his progress at growing some stubble. For a hairy bear cub like him, you'd think it would only take overnight, but he's on Day 22. Not bad for 3 weeks, it would take me three months, but I wouldn't even try at this point.
I had sideburns past my earlobes that pointed down toward the edges of my mouth for a long time. Since the late 1980's, in fact, when I first saw a bartender at the Detour wearing them. A few months ago I wanted to try something different, so I let the sideburns grow into "mutton chops". A few people said they liked the mutton chops, but people often just say anything to be nice, whether they mean it or not. I got rid of them after Lazy Bear Weekend when I realized that the sideburns were completely gray, but the rest of my head only had about 10% gray.
I am now sideburns-free, and hopefully a little more youthful looking. I am currently growing a moustache, just like the one I wore throughout the 1970's. I'm not sure I like it either, but I needed some sort of makeover. I also got new glasses, AND contact lenses. I'm still a little nervous about the contacts, cause I haven't worn them in 10 years, and I didn't need bifocals back then.
But back to Steve Cruz, the idea for his "beard blog" came from an admirer from Texas who "per$uaded" him to grow it. (Hint Hint.) Add your comments below.
