Boylesque - Bringing Old School Burlesque Back
Back in the summer I met a couple of super-cute boys at a birthday party, and while I was schmoozing them, I found out they were part of an all gay dance troupe called Boylesque.
I checked their website, SFBoylesque.com, and they are a grass-roots organization that offers a variety of classes and is available for a couple of different types of performances. I somehow got an email announcing a fundraiser to help send Boylesque to a Burlesque competition in Las Vegas, so I thought this might be a good opportunity to see them in action. They will be the only all male group competing, so it should raise some eyebrows!
Elliott is the goldilocks with the hairy chest and eight pack abs, and I have a little crush on him, for what it's worth. (Gotta tread lightly in these situations. Being a gay pornographer over 50 automatically puts me in the "pervert" category, you know.) He is an acrobat and contortionist able to bend himself into impossible positions. His boyfriend, Norm, is the Filipino guy dancing on the pole. I can only fantasize about the acrobatic positions they perform in the sack! If you guys are reading this, why not let me video tape some bedroom burlesque of you two naked!
