Sisters Propose Naming "Saint G-Spot Day"

Oscar Bash-ing
Every year on the day after the Oscars, the gay armchair quarterbacks complain "that was the worst Oscar show ever!" It's the same complaints EVERY year, so when WAS there ever a good Oscar show?
A few highlights:
-John Travolta looked like his hair was sprayed on.
-Chace Crawford and J.C. Chasez hung out together all night at Elton John's after party.
-Scott Rudin thanked his boyfriend in his acceptance speech for "No Country For Old Men".
-Introductions for Best Short Documentary was done by soldiers in Irag. The winner ended up being a lesbian themed movie, and I swear, every soldier they put on camera could have been the mayor of gayville.
-Patrick Dempsey was introduced as, "...the handsome and versatile Patrick Dempsey..." In other words, he likes to top AND bottom.

Ryan Idol Linked to Birmingham Mayor Scandal
I read about this a week ago but waited to post anything till I got some more confirmation. Associated Press has picked it up now, so there might be some validity to it after all - as if I didn't believe it right from the start...
Of course, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise, but what HAS Ryan Idol been doing for a living all these years? He only made around 7 gay porn movies, and last I heard he was selling cars. Those little "theater" gigs he's done with Ronnie Larson don't pay any money. My friends are involved in theater on the same level and they all work at Starbucks to pay the bills.
For that matter, what is Jeff Stryker's day job these days? Jeff produced one movie a few years ago, but it didn't make much waves. How many Jeff Stryker dolls CAN you sell? My guess is both of them still have "older gentlemen" that pay them for companionship.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Associated Press has reported that a charity created by Birmingham mayor Larry Langford in 2000 to provide computers to children is now being scrutinized about how the charity managed to spend over $1 million in tax money…with some of it going to a well-known gay porn star.
Court records also indicate that some of the funds meant for Langford's program were used to pay for trips, personal credit card bills, vehicle expenses, restaurant bills and casino tabs.
Langford, who took Birmingham's mayoral seat last year, has been promoting a new charity to put computers in the hands of Birmingham-area schoolchildren.
According to the AP, a major figure in both charities is Langford's friend, businessman John Katopodis.
Katopodis is currently being questioned in a civil lawsuit brought by HealthSouth Corp. and in federal subpoenas about how Katapodis handled Langford's original computer charity that got off the ground when Langford was mayor of Fairfield, Ala.
HealthSouth, which donated money and computers to Langford's first charity, questions why Langford was given money, and why paid casino trips and donated computers were given to Katopodis's friends and to various politicians.
Documents produced have also shown that $30,000 went to Marc Anthony Donais, who was known as Ryan Idol when Donais was performing as a gay porn star in the 1990s. Donais is also a businessman who worked for the charity and fixed computers… although he lacked formal training in the field.
For his part, Katopodis denied misusing the money and computers given to the charity.

Open Letter From Jesse Santana - Not All Porn Stars Escort
Below is an open letter from a 21 year old gay porn star from Texas named Jesse Santana. He was just in San Francisco for the GayVN Awards where he collected an award for Best Threesome for Jet Set's "Just Add Water". He was also a presenter and I have more photos in the VIP Room.
Jesse Santana's agent forwarded this open letter directed at... I'm not sure who. By reading between the lines, I am guessing that the attractive young man not only received some recognition for his efforts fucking on camera for money, but he apparently had some old troll(s) making unwelcome advances at him, too. So vile were the advances, that it prompted young Mr. Jesse Santana to point out that he ONLY gets paid for sex if there is a camera in the room.
He is correct that virtually every gay porn star also has a real job outside of porn, though in many cases, that other job is escorting. Okay, okay we get it. Someone too old, too ugly or with bad manners offered him a few bucks for a quickie, and now he's offended. To me, it's just another reminder to us aging, overweight nerds that we should just shoot ourselves to make things nice for prettier people.
Oh yes, and his MySpace page says he is into "...shopping, clubbing, working out, tanning, swimming, adult film...". The photo of him below (he's the middle guy) I shot at the GayVN's attests to the tanning part.
Pornstar / Escort: Where to Draw the Line
Escort, model, pornstar...these are simply job titles, all of which should be respected in their own right, but not to be confused. Individual pornstars may also have separate job titles. Some are doctors, some are teachers, some are bartenders, waiters, dancers, professional ice skaters, Olympic swimmers, and some...are escorts. But more often than not, most pornstars have to struggle under the consistent assumption that all porn models are prostitutes as well. Why should one title create another? It's honestly a shame that a porn model can't be proud of his or her job, without it also being assumed that sex and/or services are up for sale. And why is it that a large percentage of models are told, at one point or another, that in order to be a 'bigger star' they need to keep some would-be clients happy? It's the sad truth, but it's wrong. Pornstars should be liked for their performances on-screen, not off-screen.
First, let me simply say that my standpoint is not at all against escorting or escorts, but against the misled presumption that simply being a pornstar in today's society automatically links you to being an escort as well. Whereas, most of us pornstars would rather be associated with what we truly do as a profession. In saying that, I only mean to offend the certain individuals who think that a room full of pornstars is the equivalent of a buffet with a complete carry-out/to-go menu.
Some may argue that both parties are paid for sex, but consider this...pornstars choose how to express themselves, whereas escorts are at the mercy of their clients desires. Pornstars are selling a finished product, a scene or a DVD. An escort's product is his/her own body or time. Adult film is completely legal and an honest form of acting, or entertainment rather. The hard truth is that the core of most every escort's business is prostitution, which is illegal in all but two states in the United States. Porn models are paid by check by legitimate companies, whereas escorts are usually paid in cold hard cash by free-standing individuals. It's a free country, do what you choose...but many pornstars would rather not be directly categorized with illegal jobs and situations, such as prostitution.
Lately, I’ve been setting the gay porn world On Fire. I have a strong relationship with a wonderful Guy and this topic means a lot to us, and certainly heavy on the minds of any other non-escorting pornstar. We’re regular guys who enjoy our career as gay adult entertainers, but that where the line stops. It's depressing, infuriating, heartbreaking, nauseating, and most of all, sadly discouraging, that the general public and the porn industry itself, can't realize that not all of us sell ourselves in such a way. This specific, misconstrued perception of porn models is an extremely unsettling and disrespecting misconception that needs to be put to light and set straight, for the sake of every self-respecting pornstar's morals and integrity.
Being asked to sell ourselves is not a compliment or flattering to us in any way. Even if a certain pornstar were to escort as well, they probably don't want to be approached for an escorting job while they're representing themselves as a pornstar...I mean, a doctor doesn't want to go to a party and be asked to give a woman a breast exam. We're not just a bunch of pretty faces, bubble butts, and big dicks...we pornstars have our own ideas, views, and voices...all of which need to be heard! If you're a pornstar who escorts, be proud of it. But if you're really looking for a good hott escort, please try rentboy.com

The Sisters Raise $12k At IBR - International Bear Rendezvous
The figures are in, and it looks like The Sisters raised around $12,000 for charity during International Bear Rendezvous (IBR) here in San Francisco! That's a pretty impressive number considering it was only two events - Bear Bingo and Sunday Beer Bust at the Eagle.
Sister Barbi Mitzvah was in charge of it all and really knocked herself out with combination of planning in advance and her ability to ad lib on stage, keep the energy up, and draw money out of people's pockets.
Sister Bingo has evolved into quite an elaborate production, with computerized ball-pulling (not what you're thinking!) and slick audio visual enhancement along with wacky themes, costumes, and outside entertainment. Watching the show last Thursday made me think - this should be a game show on TV!
The point of Sister Bingo is to raise money, and one of the gimmicks employed in this version, "Jailhouse Rock Bingo", was to have Sisters "arrest" members of the audience, put them in a jail cell onstage, then have the "Judge" (Sister Dana) set bail for their friends to cough up the money to get them out. The also did a bit with back lighting and a white sheet to perform simulated sex onstage.
Sunday Beer Bust at the Eagle raised almost one third of the $12K weekend - a figure that is probably the highest amount I can recall being raised at a beer bust. There were some thirsty bears, I guess! Entertainment was provided by BearFilms.com holding a auditions, which added some man meat to the equation.
MuscleBearCub.com was also a proud sponsor of both events, and thanks to Sister Barbi, my banner got excellent placement at two very high profile events during International Bear Rendezvous (IBR), so I expect a surge in new sign-ups to the free personal ads - AFTER they recover from last week's festivities!

GayVN Awards - Bear Weekend - Photos IN VIP Room
What an exhausting week! The gay porn industry invaded San Francisco for the GayVN Awards and bears from all over the world came for International Bear Rendevous (IBR) - all at the same time!
I'll be blogging more about the parties and events I attended tomorrow, but VIP members can view photos from the Falcon party, Bear Bingo with The Sisters, the GayVN Awards show right now in the Paparazzi Pix section.
Raging Stallion was the big winner at the GayVN's this year. Nine of their ten overall wins went to Raging Stallion GRUNTS: THE NEW RECRUITS, including the studio's first-ever Best Picture triumph (the tenth award went to Best Pro/Am Release winner EDINBURGH, shared with Collin O'Neal Productions). GRUNTS costar and RSS Man of the Year Jake Deckard earned Best Actor and the coveted Performer of the Year. Ricky Sinz, yet another GRUNTS featured performer, leads all individuals with three overall wins.
Only two other films earned more than one trophy: LINK: THE EVOLUTION for All Worlds Video snagged five awards, while Lucas Entertainment's THE INTERN won four. Rascal Video exclusive Blake Riley is the newly crowned Best Newcomer.
Nickolay Petrov earned a GAYVN Award for Best Threesome, shared with Jesse Santana and Jason White for JUST ADD WATER (Jet Set Productions). He is currently jailed in Florida for accepting money to attack and threaten a sixtysomething couple who had failed to pay a debt.

Micheal Lucas Speaks At Stanford University
Gay porn producer Michael Lucas was a guest speaker at Stanford University last night, and I really wish I could have been there. Controversy follows him everywhere he goes, so naturally there was some shit-stirrers commenting before he even arrived. Below is Michael's report on last night's event, and I suspect there will be other versions published soon. Links to comments in the student newspaper are at the end.
The GayVN Summit begins today, leading up to the GayVN Awards on Saturday, not to mention International Bear Rendezvous (IBR) going on this weekend, too! (Yikes, how can you be in 10 places at once when you're no where at all?)
I predict there will be lots of juicy gossip from the bears and the gay porn industry - so much that I will be in my usual predicament of being out-and-about with my ear to the ground so much that I end up having no time to actually report on the good stuff!
I hope Michael approves of the photo of us from last week. (He made me delete the ones he didn't like right there on the spot.) Mr. Pam took it, so he trusts her. She also cornered me in the parking lot and ambushed with questions for his autobiographical documentary, and I was not prepared!

Hello Everyone,
First let me tell you that I had a wonderful time speaking at Stanford. It was a paid engagement, and I was honored to be hired by such an prestigious institution. They gave me the best reception, from accommodations at the best hotel in town to an enjoyable dinner with the organizers of the event—about 10 students—who were absolutely marvelous to talk with.
In my speech I addressed the controversy, talked about my life and business, discussed my stance on safe sex, and made clear my political views. It was followed by a Q&A session, where I answered over 30 questions in over an hour, but just like my engagements at Yale, NYU, and Rutgers, there wasn't time to answer all the questions. The students appreciated my straight talk and honest approach.
The only one controversial moment that I can recall in the two hours on stage was when one of the students asked me why the gay adult industry "segregates" African-American models. I answered that he probably has never seen my films, as my movies are all interracial. I've personally performed with African-American actors at least 20 times in my career, and numerous African-American actors are constantly featured in my films. That's why one of my very first awards at the GAYVNs was for Best Ethnic-Themed Video, as I've always used actors from all over the world, from South America to the Middle East. The student, however, tried to provoke me and kept asking about the issue, wondering why other studios don't use more African-American actors. I gave him a very straightforward and a very truthful answer, stating the fact that though we would all love to see more African-American actors applying to work in our films, we don't have as many of them doing so. And the reason is simple: homophobia in the African-American community, which prevents them from applying. This one particular student started arguing, and I repeated my statement and told him that the truth does not always stay in the middle... sometimes it's either on the right or the left, sometimes the truth can be unpleasant. But homophobia in the African-American community is a well-known fact. It's not even a subject for argument. Homophobia something that we should all be working on in every community, regardless of race.
I thanked the students for coming in such a large number, especially on the evening of Valentine's Day. I received a round of applause and spent about 20 minutes signing autographs. The entire event was filmed by my friend, cameraman Mr. Pam. I will release it in a couple of weeks. It will also be included in a documentary about my life which will be out sometime this Fall.

Valentine's Day Spotlight - COLT Couples III

XBiz Awards 2008
During my trip to LA for the Xbiz convention, I was also nominated for GLBT Web Company of the Year at the Xbiz Awards. I did not win that one either, but it did get me into the VIP Room, for what it's worth.
It was a pretty glam event and even though there were only a handful of gay companies represented, it did bring out a few stars. I spotted Dave Navarro, but lost track of him by the time Jake Deckard and I started our search to get our pictures taken with him. Straight male porn star Evan Stone (see photo) stopped me to compliment me on my pink pimpin' suit, and a "real" pimp was in attendance, too - the Archbishop Don "Magic" Juan.
One of the presenters was Seymour Butts' Cousin Stevie, the breakout star of Showtime's "Family Business". (Cousin Stevie is in the photo with the two girlies.)
But I met my new best friend, 70's porn star Sharon Mitchell, standing in the VIP line to enter. (History lesson on straight porn, kids. Sharon Mitchell, bio-female performer, started working in porn in 1974 and has over 2000 movies to her credit.) Now known as Dr. Sharon Mitchell, she helped found AIM (Adult Industry Medical HealthCare Foundation), a health clinic for sex workers and a big advocate for condom use. I thanked her for participating in the seminar earlier that day on the subject of Safety On The Porn Set, and told her about my safe sex pamphlet, "Sister Zsa Zsa's Epistle to the Gay Porn Industry". I held her purse while she lit a cigarette, but soon had to put it out because, as she said, "It wouldn't look good for a doctor to walk in smoking."
I'm sure there were other noteworthy stars from the straight side of the business, but I wouldn't recognize them. Oh well, even though I didn't win, Lavender Lounge got it's name out there to all the right people, and I got to partake of another open bar.

Cybersocket Awards Show 2008
I just got back from LA last night, where I attended a porn convention and two awards shows. Wednesday night was the Cybersocket Awards held at one of those fancy nightclubs named Ritual that is frequented by the likes of Paris Hilton. But that night it was taken over by pornographers in conjunction with the Xbiz convention.
I was nominated for Best Blog at the Cybersocket Awards, but alas, despite my relentless campaigning, it still wasn't enough to win the trophy. :-(
There were a few porn stars there, but true to the recent trend, porn stars are becoming their own producers/webmasters, so the porn stars that showed up were there for a reason other than just looking pretty. I spotted Jake Deckard, Collin O'Neal, Blake Riley, Michael Lucas and Brent Corrigan. The rest of the crowd were the geeks you don't know that keep this business running.
Speaking of looking pretty, the show was hosted by Jackie Beat, and I thought she did a great job. We're so used to Chi Chi LaRuehosting these award shows that a lot of people in the audience still thought it was Chi Chi, even though Jackie was talking right to Chi Chi in the audience! Get a clue, kids!

Hooker SF - Preserving Traditional South of Market Values
The flyer says, "Preserving Traditional South of Market Values", and I know everyone loves a good value, especially if it's at a seedy South of Market leather bar.
Hooker is a once a month club night at the Powerhouse bar aimed at bringing the cruiseyness back to SOMA. It's targeted to the LEVIS - LEATHER - MUSCLE - INK - BEAR - CUB market. (I am so there!)
The Powerhouse is about the only place left where there is any "backroom action", but even there it's kinda hit or miss. My theory is, if it's the right crowd, things will happen. Gay Porn Star Erik Rhodes Dating Gay Designer Marc Jacobs
I teased Joseph Fenity that his news reports submitted to Sirius OutQ radio make him a regular "Jimmy Olsen, cub reporter". He's too young to remember the old Superman TV show and had to look it up on Wikipedia. (Sigh, I'm old.)

February 3, 2008 -- Marc Jacobs kicked off Fashion Week with a documentary on the behind-the-scenes life of a designer - although many viewers would have likely been more interested in the secret tryst he's been having with a porn star.
Jacobs has been quietly seeing adult film actor Erik Rhodes and whisking him away to secret locations, sources told Page Six. The new fling is likely the reason things have cooled again between Jacobs and former male escort Jason Preston, whom he's dated on and off since 2005.
Sources said Jacobs' affair with Rhodes - who describes himself as "Addictive. Wild. Open" on his ManNet.com profile - began last year when the designer invited Rhodes to join him and Preston for a three-way. Jacobs allegedly continued the fling with Rhodes one on one after that.
"Jason thought he and Marc were exclusive again," said our insider. "But Marc is sleeping with this porn star behind his back, and sneaking him to Paris for hot sex."
Rhodes seems an unlikely partner for the flamboyant fashionista, who counts Winona Ryder and Ashley Olsen as close friends. The guy-on-guy actor proudly wrote on his profile that he is "full-blown gay" and starred in adult movies such as "Flesh," "Flex," and "Beefcake."
When we saw Preston Thursday night at the Cinema Society bash sponsored by W magazine for the documentary "Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton," he was keeping his distance from the designer.

Jacobs has done a couple of stints in rehab for drug abuse, and Preston made waves when he had Jacobs' full name tattooed on his forearm. The boytoy told HX magazine last year they were "engaged."
Despite the hot designer's extracurricular activities, we hear Preston still plans to attend tomorrow's Jacobs show with Aly Hilfiger as his date.
Asked about Rhodes, Jacobs told Page Six through a spokesperson, "He's a really nice guy and we are just friends."
