Brazilian Orgy from Athetic Model Guild - "Azul"
Athletic Model Guild announced today that Suruba: Azul, the latest Brazilian orgy title from the company’s premium brand of Latin hardcore, AMG Brasil, is now available.

The film’s opening scene finds Lucas Lucky, who was discovered by Kristen Bjorn, perched atop a dark blue tile wall. In front of him lies an extravagant private pool, complete with waterfall. Behind him, the crisp blue expanse of the Atlantic Ocean stretches as far as the eye can see. The sun kisses his lightly tanned, muscular physique. Bell said finding the right spot was a challenge, but he knew he had located the right place when he saw the ocean view.
“When I saw it, I immediately imagined Lucas jack-hammering one of his costars on the tile, with a clear blue sky, the blue tile of the pool, and the blue Atlantic behind them,” Bell said.

Raging Stallion Wins at GRABBY's
At the final award ceremony of the 2008 season, Raging Stallion finished on top by claiming the GRABBY Awards for Best Picture (GRUNTS) and Best Director (Chris Ward and Ben Leon). This is the tenth year of the GRABBY Awards.
The GRABBYS mark the end of the 2008 awards season, a period that began on January 1 with the publication of the Mannet.com top 100 Movies of the Year. The high point was the GayVN awards show in February. Raging Stallion dominated each of the awards shows in 2008, making this the most successful awards season for the studio to date. Raging Stallion is investing heavily in a major Western Epic to be shot in New Mexico later this summer. The movie will be jointly directed by Chris Ward, Ben Leon, and Tony Dimarco. With a budget almost as large as the $250,000 spent on (GRUNTS, the as yet untitled western will be the studio's main effort for the next award season.

Same Sex Marriage Here To Stay - Weddings To Begin June 17
Surprising results of a new survey shows by 51-42 percent, registered voters said they believed same-sex marriage should be legal in California. Only 28 percent favored gay marriage in 1977, when the Field Poll first asked that question, said Mark DiCamillo, the poll's director.
Younger voters and those living in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and other Democratic urban strongholds were the most supportive of same-sex marriage, the poll found, while older voters and those living in the more conservative inland areas were more opposed.
The poll also provided a boost for groups planning to battle a measure to ban same-sex marriage that is expected to go on the ballot in November as a constitutional amendment. By 51-43 percent, registered voters oppose changing the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage, according to the poll.
California counties can begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples on June 17, the state's Office of Vital Records determined today. The Office of Vital Records also determined today how the new forms for marriage licenses will refer to those who are marrying. Instead of gender-specific designations, the forms refer to applicants as "Party A" and "Party B."

Harvey Milk Statue Unveiling At City Hall
Yesterday would have been San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk's 78th birthday. After years of work raising money, community organizers were finally able to unveil a bust of Harvey Milk that will now be placed in a prime position at City Hall. And where did it finally get placed? Right up at the top of the grand staircase in front of the Supervisors' Chambers. It's the very same spot that is frequently used for weddings because it is so grand and impressive.
"Harvey would have loved it," was the phrase the dignitaries kept saying over and over in dedication speeches last night. First of all, he loved the grand staircase, especially when they brought out the red carpet for important visitors. Second, he would of loved the irony of having his head appear in the background of every photo taken by straight kids getting married in the City Hall rotunda. But most of all, he would have loved the fact that GAY couples can now get married in that same City Hall, the culmination of all his hard work.
The ceremony and reception brought out all the movers and shakers in this gay town. Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official would never have conceived of the political line-up that opened the event. There on stage was a gay State Senator, a gay State Assemblyman, two gay former Board of Supervisor Presidents, and the most gay-friendly mayor imaginable.
The inscription on the statue reads, "I ask for the Movement to continue because my election gave young people out there hope. You gotta give 'em hope." Leading the way up the stairs to the unveiling were a group of kids from the Gay Straight Alliance, but the one that brought tears to eyes of this jaded old queen was a 10 year old student from the Harvey Milk Academy.
NAMEDROPPING: Leading the charge to bring this project to life was Danny Nicoletta, the photographer whose image was used as the inspiration for the bust. Harvey Milk's gay nephew Stuart Milk, accepted a proclamation from the U.S. House of Representatives signed by Nancy Pelosi declaring May 22nd as "Harvey Milk Day". Cleve Jones, creator of the AIDS Quilt, Harry Britt, Harvey Milk's successor on the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Tom Ammiano, Supervisor Bevan Dufty, Senator Carol Migden, Assemblyman Mark Leno, comic Marga Gomez, Empress Donna Sachet, and a rainbow coalition of gay people who get things done in this town.

Obama Takes Oregon - Gay Mayor in Portland
My spy living in Portland, Oregon send me these exclusive pictures from the giant Barack Obama rally on Monday. The national media hinted this may be the turning point in the election. The huge rally in Portland lead to an easy win for him in Oregon, which now gives him the lead in delegates.
The other big news out of Oregon is that we now have an openly gay mayor of Portland! In Tuesday's election, Sam Adams is now the first openly gay mayor of a major American city. Let's open a beer for Sam Adams!

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but the phrase "People Rental" just has an odd ring to it. I spotted this sign last week when to went to dinner in Japantown before going to see Ironman.

Could they be renting out hookers? Hookers are people, too.
Could they be renting people as slave labor? No, temp agencies use much more sophisticated names like "Manpower".
For some reason the name "People Rental" sounds vaguely like a reference to Soylent Green. I can just see Charleton Heston screaming, "Soylent Green RENTS people!"

Same Sex Marriage Legal In California!
The California Supreme Court ruled today that Gay Marriage is legal in California. It's a historic ruling for the largest state in the Union which could impact opposition in other states. We're not out of the woods yet, either in that a petition calling for change in the Constitution could be on the ballot in November.
This quote from Chief Justice Ronald George is the most important statement I've ever seen to support our case:
...Allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry "will not deprive opposite-sex couples of any rights and will not alter the legal framework of the institution of marriage..."
T-shirts and bumper stickers should be made with that quote.
I was in the car waiting for the announcement to be made at 10 am, so I tuned to CNN, supposedly "the most trusted source for news". The announcer started reading the announcement right off the wire as it came in - and he got it wrong! At first glance, he stated the gay marriage ban was upheld and CNN's legal expert went along with it, talking about how many people were going to be disappointed. I switched channels and to 92.7 FM and gay morning show hosts Fernando and Greg were celebrating! I then switched to Sirius OutQ and Frank DeCaro was celebrating! I kept going back and forth to CNN to hear them make the correction, but they kept running commercials and other stories, and saying, "...it's a complicated ruling..." blah, blah, blah. It probably took them 20 minutes or more to straighten it out.
Be prepared for a BIG news day!
UPDATE: Last night was a huge party in celebration of legal same sex gay marriage. It started at he gay community Center, and moved down to Castro where a spontaneous street party assembled. I shot some photos and added it to the VIP Room under Paparazzi Pics.
And one more interesting tidbit. The day they legalized gay marriage is also the one year anniversary of Jerry Falwell's death. Oh, the irony!

SOMA Bare Chest Calendar Finals
I went to the finals of the South of Market Bare Chest Calendar Contest yesterday. It's the 25th year for the famous calendar of San Francisco's hottest and bravest men. Why are they brave?
