Samuel Colt On Cover Of Men Magazine

A local boy that I've seen around the campus for a long time has finally relented to appear in porn. He's even on the cover of the August issue of Men Magazine, with a full gallery of photos available in the online edition, MenMachine.com.
I've lusted after Samuel Colt for a long time just seeing him around town, but he's just so beautiful it's intimidating, ever since he stopped doing crystal a few years ago, he really beefed up into the muscle god you see before you. This year he also got the "leather sash itch" and started getting involved in leather contests. He won Mr. Powerhouse, then Mr. San Francisco Leather and was a finalist at Mr. International Leather (IML) this year. Even without the big title, he's still using his influence to do fundraisers.
Just after coming home from IML, he announced he signed an exclusive contract with Falcon's Mustang line. When I asked him about it, I was sure he would sign with Raging Stallion, but he told me, "At the last minute Falcon came in with a better offer."
He's already famous by his real name but decided to create a lame ass porn name for some reason. Samuel Colt? Not only will the name cause confusion with COLT Studio, but Falcon already has an exclusive named Ty Colt! Plus, I did a search of a gay porn star database and found the following names have also appeared in gay porn movies throughout the years:
Adam Colt. Alex Colt, Andrew Colt, Anthony Colt, Bobby Colt, Boyer Colt, Brett Colt, Brian Colt, Chris Colt, Dillon Colt, Eric Colt, Gregory Colt, Jeff Colt, Marc Colt, Shane Colt, Thomas Colt, Tom Colt, Tony Colt, Travis Colt, Verdo Colt and Zebedy Colt.
At this point, I wonder why anyone still creates a phony "porn name" anyway. Unless your real name is hard to spell or pronounce (Samuel Colt's real name is actually very easy to remember) and you have nothing to hide, why change it? If you wanted to find out Samuel Colt's real name, it would take 30 seconds to look him up as a runner up at IML. If he's not worried about his boss or family finding out about his participation in a leather/kink contest, why bother changing your name for porn?
Men Magazine's other website, Unzipped.net, asked Samuel Colt:
So you used to work as a webmaster for Hot House, and you're friends with Raging Stallion director Tony DiMarco, but you're just now getting into porn. What the hell took you so long?
Tony DiMarco asked me to be in his movie and I said, “No, but I’ll be a non-sexual extra.” But then the next day I was, like, “Well, let’s talk about it.” So he scheduled me to do something—I’d kind of been thinking about it around that time anyway… All the hesitations I had for why I didn’t want to do it didn’t apply anymore. Things like I wanted to have a full-time job, and I wanted to be confident with who I was as a person, not have a drug problem… All that stuff had been resolved, so he asked me to be in The Visitor, but I got sick like a week before the shoot and wasn’t able to do it. But the funny thing is that when I said yes to him, Steve Cruz found out and booked me for Green Door, so I ended up doing, like, four scenes in two or three weeks, and none of them were Tony’s. (Scene with Tyler Saint for Jimmy Z., and Jet Set.) I wasn’t nervous really. The big thing I was concerned about was, “Am I going to be able to stay hard?” But it was really good. It came out fantastic.
