Manhunt on Bravo Update
Since he doesn't like to get his hands dirty by reporting on gay porn, I should leave this story for Towleroad. (There's a lot less to write about if cute guys have to keep their clothes on to be in his blog.) He's been keeping a very good log of the travesty that is Bravo's "Manhunt - the Search for Bestest, Most Uber-Gorgeous Male Model TV Beauty Pageant", but like any good trainwreck, even I find it hard to look away. I've blogged some comments about Manhunt, but I always seem to get scooped by Towleroad. But the best scoops about Manhunt have come from Billy Masters at Filth2Go.com.
Billy has posted some quite damning photos of closet case Hunter who only a few weeks ago, gasped at Rob's coming out on the show. Hunter claimed in one of his private interviews that he "was from a small town and I'd never met a homosexual before" (or something to that extent). Billy soon followed up with photos of Hunter stripping at a gay club in Little Rock, but he also discovered even more photos of Hunter stripping at Here Lounge in West Hollywood, that seem to have been taken right around the time of the show's taping! Hmm, never met a homosexual before? Then giving lap dances to homosexuals doesn't count either?
To briefly fill you in, poor teary-eyed Hunter got booted in last night's show, leaving only four contestants remaining. One of the four is the secretly "embedded" mole Kevin Peake, who is actually a working model hired to spy on the others. Prior to last night's show, I always had my eye on Hunter, even though he is a bit of a mess (but such a pretty mess). Yeah, I'd like to cheer for Rob, the down-to-earth gay guy, but I think he's out of his league on the show and if it weren't for Hunter, Rob would be buh-bye.
That leaves Kevin as my favorite cream dream of Manhunt. He is gorgeous, but maybe a bit too arrogant. I think he does do a better hosting job than Carmen Electra and certainly better than that has-been never-was Bruce Hulse. (Who the hell is he, anyway?)
Anyway, the reason I called you all here today was to share these photos I found of Kevin Peake doing some actual modeling work in last Spring's International Male Ungear Catalogue. I also noticed a striking resemblence between Kevin Peake and gay porn star Ethan Marc. Check the photos below. Kevin is in the left column and Ethan Marc in the right column. See the resemblance?
