Political blogs seem to be the "Pet Rock" of 2004: trendy. Very trendy. Blogging's got to be the latest trend - look how many gay men are political bloggers! Andrew Sullivan, Blogactive, closet case Daily Koz. *, and goddess knows how many gay trendoids have taken up political blogging (after they grew tired of blogging about what they had for breakfast...). And the next trend in the trendy world of political blogging, as reported here, will be outing closeted gay politicians.

America Blog came up with this stunning accusation that George Bush's campaign manager, Ken Mehlman, is gay! What? Everybody knows that the "Herb" half of Kiki and Herb (aka Kenny Mellman) is a big poof! Come on, after hanging out with Justin Bond all this time, SOMEthing's gotta rub off!


*Okay, Daily Koz is actually not gay, but everyone that meets him in person thinks he is!
