Scott Peterson - Gay Porn Star?
The Scott Peterson case (you know, the guy who is accused of murdering his wife Laci Peterson...) is just about to wrap up. So why has this case become "The Crime of The Century of The Week"? Was it the severity of the crime? No, there are probably hundreds of pregnant women being killed in Iraq every day that never get reported. Is it because the media misses the O.J. Simpson case? Possibly. Is it media manipulation to keep the attention off the President's mistakes. Oh, please. That would take too much coordination.
The real reason this case is popular is because Scott Peterson is so cuuuute!
Those soccer moms that voted Republican in the election are the same ones who have demanded more and more details about Scott Peterson for the past two years. He's got the kind of look that makes suburban housewives swoon, plus there's a "story" that has been unfolding at the same slow, plodding pace of soap operas. Scott Peterson has the look of a soap opera star, and it doesn't matter if he's evil. The evil ones are often the most popular. I haven't watched soaps in 20 years, so the only example I can think of is Tad Martin on "All My Children". Maybe someone can provide a more recent example of a good looking two-faced soap opera character? Add a comment.
Why is "Desperate Housewives" the hottest show on televsion? Because that's who watches TV. They buy the tabloids at the supermarket, they answer the phone to take marketing surveys because they are home at the hours that marketing surveys are taken. They call radio talk shows and buy the toilet paper. Their teen idols were Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, Leif Garrett, Joey Lawrence, and Scott Baio. Scott Peterson probably has 1,000 marriage proposals already, and will continue receiving marriage proposals all while he is in prison. Why? Housewives are Desperate.
Prior to the 1990's, before Will & Grace and Ellen's sit com, the gay media investigated why there were no gay people on TV. During that investigation, they discovered that the reason there were no gay male characters on soap operas. According to surveys, the networks feared that if housewives saw a gay man on "One Life to Live", regardless of the plotline, they would think of their precious babies walking home from school and freak out that they might get molested. As far as I know, there still are no gay male characters on network daytime soaps, and just one lesbian.
It's a little late in the game now, but I should have helped nip the Scott Peterson story earlier. It's not news, it's just a distraction from the REAL news that nobody wants to read. To stop the Scott Peterson trial from taking over the news media, we need to make Scott appear gay! That will twart the housewives' Prince Charming fantasies and allow them to change the channel. And in the meantime, the gay boys might get a kick out of seeing what they secretly hoped Scott Peterson looks like under his court room suits and orange jumpsuits.

He will be executed for his lack of morality in the sense that he chose an deviant sexual path.. according to society, he was an adulterer, and though survey-says.. cheating is prevalent world-wide, the fact that his wife happened to go missing during his affair and turn up dead, gives the public reason to condemn him with their hypocritical outrage. Did he do it? Maybe. Maybe isn't enough. But, he slept with another women. That was. I just spent the better part of my morning lamenting this fact and reading what others had to say and I believe many take this too lightly. You can find my disgust on my website, in today's entry, if you are so inclined to read about how one man will die by lethal injection because of immoral sex.
