Scissor Sisters Jake Shears
My buddy, Billy Masters, clued me into a photo set from Butt Magazine of some naughty photos of Jake Shears, the lead singer of Scissor Sisters. If you don't know, the Scissor Sisters are this generation's queerest rock band, picking up where the now geriatric B52's left off. The B52's Fred Schneider, was always opening gay and very flamboyant, but he was never what you'd call "sexy". The difference between the two is that Scissor Sisters have the sexpot ex-go-go boy Jake Shears (real name Jason Sellards) as the front man/lead singer. Jake is astoundingly cute and sexy, but from their big debut on Saturday Night Live a few months ago, I don't think he was chosen for his vocal abilities. The band rocks, and Jake works really hard, but his voice seemed strained, at least at that performance.
But you didn't come here looking for music reviews, you came to Lavender Lounge Blog looking for free pix of nude men, right? Check out these shots of Jake Shears. The look like they came right from a vintage photo session by Athletic Model Guild! See - the hipsters "get" vintage gay porn!
